Before I forget

I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!!! I will not be able to get to my computer until after the new year. Can you believe that it's going to be 2010?! I can't. Anyways, I hope your holiday is blessed and relaxing, and Santa brings you everything you asked for.

Love you!!!

Pine Bark

This is a really easy recipe and tastes so good. Here is what you need and how you make it:
  • sleeve of Premium saltines
  • stick of butter
  • 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar
  • 2 handfuls of semi-sweet chocolate chips
First you line a cookie sheet with foil and place the saltine crackers on it.Then you melt the stick of butter and brown sugar together. Stirring occasionally.Once it's well mixed bring to a boil and let it be for 3 minutes. DO NOT STIR!!Then pour over the saltine crackers and bake in a 4oo* oven for 5-7 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.Next you sprinkle the 2 handfuls of semi-sweet chocolate chips over it and let sit for a few minutes. When they are nice and melty take a spatula or back of a spoon and spread the chocolate out over the crackers. Let cool and then break into pieces.
Enjoy!!!

What's in your status?

Over the past year I have become a fan of Facebook. It's a great way to stay connected to friends & family and is a fun way to update everyone on your life and share pictures too. I have reunited with friends from high school and even family members that are back east. Recently I found this website that will make a status cloud of the main words you have used in your "status update" on Facebook. Here is mine...

A little pick me up

This has nothing to do with Christmas, December, or that it's winter. It's just a little something that I wanted to share. When I have a stressful day or crazy day I put on music to relax, but today I found this video that did the trick. Not only did the music make me forget about my stress, the person singing the song helped too. He is soooo cute!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope you have a wonderful & blessed Thanksgiving. Me and the boys will be at my Mom's with the rest of my family enjoying a delicious dinner. Tonight I am going to make a chocolate sheet cake to bring for dessert. Of course it's from the Pioneer Woman. Anyways, I hope you stop and take a minute tomorrow and remember all the blessing you received in 2009. Love to you!!

Happy Anniversary

It's been 6 years today that I have been married to my hubby. The years are flying by and they get more and more filled with great memories. I love my hubby with all of my heart and I am thankful for such a great guy. We are going out to dinner on Saturday night to celebrate. I love you Babe!! Below the first picture is our first picture together and the other one is taken on our honeymoon in 2003 at Discovery Cove in Florida.
